Reservations are honored for up to two hours after stipulated/agreed pick up
time after which status will be changed to NO SHOW which attracts 20% Surcharge
on rental for first day. To avoid this surcharge client is expected to contact
Swift Rental Cars Ltd to change the pick up time or cancel the reservation.

Swift Rental Cars Ltd typical daily charges are on a 24 hour clock. |

Other services charged for by Swift Rental Cars Ltd on a 24 hour basis include but are not limited to daily rates, chauffeur’s cost etc. |

All vehicles at Swift Rental Cars Ltd are rented with a full tank of fuel and expected back with full tank at the end of the rental. We accept the following refueling options: |

1. You may return the vehicle with a full tank of gas. (Stop and refuel prior to returning the vehicle) |
| |
2. Opt to be surcharges with cost of refueling plus a premium of 10%. |

- Cost of chauffeur is included in the rental.
- Chauffeur’s overtime is charged at N180 per hour after 6pm and N500 per hour after midnight.
- Public holiday rentals attract a charge of N1,500 per day for chauffeur.
- Special allowance of N500 is charged for early morning and late night pickups i.e. pickups before 6am and after midnight.
- Chauffeur’s out of station is N2,500 and N5,000 per day within and outside Nigeria respectively.
- Chauffeur’s weekend allowance is N1,000 per day.

Contract violations include, but are not limited to: |
| |
- Driving under the influence of intoxicants.
- Operation of the vehicle by an unlicenced or unauthorized person.
- Moving vehicle out of agreed zone (state or country) without the prior permission of Swift Rental Cars Ltd.
- Failure to return rental vehicle on due date.
- Failure to pay all charges listed on contract at time of return.

All self drive customers are covered automatically by Third Party Liability Insurance whereby cover is only for injury, death of or damage to third party (others). It is the renter’s responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is not used for the following : |

- Use of vehicle for hire, haulage or reward.
|
| |
To protect yourself beyond this policy, we offer the following covers which are optional. These policies do not waive the excess amount usually charged. |
| |
- TP- Theft Protection and cost per day for Saloons are N750 and N2,000 for Jeeps, Buses and Luxury vehicles.
- CDW- Collision Damage Waiver and cost per day for Saloon is N750 and N2,000 for Jeeps, Buses and Luxury vehicles..
- PI- Personal Insurance and cost per day is N500.
- Declining these protection means customer is fully liable for any damages to as well as loss or theft of vehicle.

Renters are responsible for returning the vehicle on the designated date and time shown on the rental agreement. It is the responsibility of the renter to contact Swift Rental Cars to extend a contract and to pay additional deposits needed to extend the contract.
It is the renter’s responsibility to understand the terms of the agreement as stated in the rental contract. Customer service agents are trained to explain each line item prior to their customer initialing contract. |

The renter is responsible for paying for any and all toll fees, parking fees etc., received while the vehicle is on contract. |

If the parking ticket is not paid for at time of return Swift Rental Cars will
forward all invoices for parking tickets to the customer for payment. |

Age 21 to 24 - Surcharge of N2,500.00 applies.

Renters between the age of 21 and 24 must take full personal liability and collision coverage that will transfer to the rented vehicle. This coverage must be verified by one of our customer service agents prior to making a reservation. |
